Born from a Garlean mother and an Eorzean father, Viktor had always been between the two. He was blessed with his mother intellect and the gift of magic and aethersight from his father. He's been raised in Garlemald where he would learn everything there is to know about Magitek. He quickly became a known figure in the field, creating multiple devices that Garleans still use as of today. But the civil war got the better of his nation, injuring his right leg in the process, forcing him to wear a brace around it and use a cane to walk around while he had to flee to Eorzea. Since he did not possess the third eye on his forehead, Viktor didn't had any problems to blend in and find his own laboratory.Years later, he would meet Jayce Talis, an inspiring scientist of Eorzea that wanted to combine magic and Magitek and Viktor was more than eager to help him do that. They became work partners and decided to create the Piltover Academy where they could teach their fields to anyone who was eager to learn as Viktor believe that Magitek science shouldn't be kept a secret for anyone, no matter if they're Garlean or not.
